Majestic Winter ‘25 Elite Division Playoff Preview
The regular season has come to an end, and this Sunday will be the first round of the playoffs! The Elite division is wide open, with no clear cut favorite for the championship. There are also a legitimate 7 contenders to win it all in this division. Real question is, who will get hot at the right time?
Majestic Elite East
1. Bay Area Broncos (4-1) – The Team to Beat
The Broncos have been the most complete team of the East, finishing with the best record (4-1) and the highest point differential (+13.6 per game). They boast a high-powered offense, averaging 63.4 PPG, and a strong defense allowing just 49.8 PPG, the best in the division. Although they are not the most talented team, they are by far the most cohesive team in the division. Their ability to communicate and play together is the main reason for their success. Their 3-2 zone has been giving teams problems all season, but will it hold up in the playoffs?
X-Factor: Defense. If they continue to lock down opponents, they’ll be hard to stop.
2. Backdoor (3-2) – Wild Card
Backdoor has been up and down this season, finishing with a 3-2 record. Their biggest challenge? Defense. They’ve allowed more points than they’ve scored this season, with a negative point differential (-2.8). If they can tighten things up on the defensive end, they have the offensive firepower to make a deep run. Their kryptonite has been the Bay Area Broncos who have handled them in their 2 matchups so far this season.
X-Factor: Consistent offense and defensive communication
3. Bay Ballaz (1-4) – Better Than Their Record Suggests
Despite their 1-4 record, the Bay Ballaz have played competitive basketball, with an average scoring margin of just -1.0 PPG. They’ve been in almost every game, but they’ll need to find a way to close out tight matchups. Bay Ballaz is an incredibly sneaky team to watch out for, almost beating the No Limit Hoopers in their first matchup. Fully healthy and available, this team is poised for a Cinderella run.
X-Factor: Late-game execution.
4. Bay Area Golden Dragon (0-5) – Can They Shock the League?
The Golden Dragon struggled throughout the season, going winless at 0-5 while posting the lowest scoring average in the division (36.2 PPG). Their defense has also been a weak point, allowing 56.4 PPG. However, the playoffs are a fresh start, and anything can happen.
X-Factor: Luck
Majestic Elite West
1. Untouchaballs (3-2) – The Offensive Juggernaut
No team in the Elite Division scores like the Untouchaballs, who lead all teams with a scorching 71.0 PPG. Their defense, however, has been shaky, allowing 65.2 PPG—the most among top-seeded teams. If they can get stops when it matters, they could be on their way to the championship. Untouchaballs has easily the most athleticism and talent in this division, but they lack size. Teams like Treez or Bay Ballaz can give them real problems due to their lack of size.
X-Factor: Rebounding and Interior Defense
2. Ethics (2-3) – The Gritty Contender
Ethics has had a rollercoaster season, finishing at 2-3 with a nearly even point differential (-1.0). Their games have been close, and they know how to grind out tough wins. If they can capitalize on their defensive strengths and limit turnovers, they could surprise teams in the playoffs. Ethics is the team that has had the most disappointing regular season, but that can change in the playoffs. Most of their losses have been incredibly close and they have not been able to close out teams.
X-Factor: Closing out games
3. Treez (2-3) – The Late-Season Risers
After a slow start, Treez is heating up at the right time, riding a two-game win streak into the playoffs. With a strong offensive output (60.0 PPG), they have the firepower to keep up with the top teams. If their defense (62.4 PPG allowed) can hold firm, they might be the dark horse of the playoffs. Easily the hottest team in the division right now, being the number 1 seed in the power rankings going into the playoffs. Treez is simply a different team when Raul plays, and they don’t have much of a chance without him.
X-Factor: Raul
4. Noor Hoopers (1-4) – The Underdogs
The Noor Hoopers struggled throughout the season, posting a 1-4 record with the second-worst point differential (-17.8). However, they did pick up a win in their final game, which could give them a confidence boost heading into the postseason. Noor Hoopers began the season in a different division and were looking to come down and dominate. That has not been the case at all. They have been struggling all season with inconsistent availability as well. They still have a chance at the chip with the talent they have on the roster, but will they show up?
X-Factor: Showing up to the game
Players to Watch
Brandon from Untouchaballs – Can he carry his team’s high-powered offense?
David from the Broncos – Will he stay hot in the Playoffs?
Muyi from Backdoor – Will he show up?
Raul from Treez – Will he continue to dominate?

The Untouchaballs will either dominate or fall apart due to defensive struggles.
Treez is the sleeper team no one wants to face.
Bay Ballaz might shock the East despite their record.
The Broncos are favorites, but the West teams could challenge them.
Final Thoughts
The Majestic Elite Playoffs are set to be intense and unpredictable. Will the top seeds hold their ground, or are we in for some upsets? This division is wide open, and we can’t wait to see who takes it!
