Majestic Spring ‘25 Season Preview
A new season is set to begin, and with it comes a fresh wave of competition, renewed rivalries, and new contenders eager to leave their mark. With over 24 teams competing across four divisions, Majestic Hoops continues to lead the way in high-level adult recreational basketball in the Bay Area. Whether you're a returning powerhouse or a first-time squad looking to break through, the journey starts here.
Majestic Black Division
The Majestic Black Division is the most prestigious of all the Majestic Divisions. This season only having 4 teams compared to the normal 6 that are typically in it. Better to have these 4 teams go at it multiple times in a season than throw 2 teams in here that don’t belong. Majestic Black is the best teams that Majestic Hoops has to offer and are often the most intense and competitive games we have.
Division Favorites and Projected Contenders
San Jose Wolfpack being a semi pro team is clearly the favorites in this division. The gap between them and the next two teams are not as wide as they were in previous seasons though. No Fly Zone and H20 Elite are both teams that can catch them on any given night. No Fly Zone really is that sneaky great team that can blow you out if the shots are falling. Their lead guard just broke the in game 3 point record. H20 Elite is coming in with a new roster, but we’re yet to see whether they have improved or not. Crew 7 has a lot to prove, but are definitely looking much better this season and should be way more competitive than last season.
Teams:
Crew 7
A whole new roster for this upcoming season. Difficult to gage the new talent since we have yet to see them play real competition, but the way this team flows and moves the ball will be their key to success this season.H20 Elite
Losing a few key pieces from their previous championship appearance could be detrimental to their season. Their new additions have yet to prove anything and we need to see how their new bigs will perform against the proven guys on the other teams in this division. If they continue to start their games slow, it might be a long season for H20 Elite. No Fly Zone
Their team name is incredibly ironic since their offense is significantly better than their defense. This team is the best shooting team in the league and has a chance against anybody on any given night. If they get hot at the right time, it will be no surprise if they upset the Wolfpack in the playoffs. Their biggest worry is their wing play. They have strong guard/center play, but the wing position is often inconsistent.San Jose Wolfpack
Semi pro team, clear cut favorites. This is their championship to lose, every team is going to get up to play against them. Everybody on their team is a threat.
Majestic Maroon Division
The debut of the Majestic Maroon Division!! This division is full of teams who are on the cusp of being able to play in the Black division, but are a piece or two away from truly competing up there. Although these teams are not able to compete in Black quite yet, these are the most complete teams in the entire league. All these teams play team basketball and have been playing together for multiple seasons.
Division Favorites and Projected Contenders
There is no clear cut favorites for this division. The betting favorites is Calabreezes, who is still searching for their first title despite being the one seed multiple seasons in a row. Their odds are much slimmer than previous seasons though, as teams like Campbell Divided, Misfits, and Berksan are right on their tail. Only top 4 out of these 7 teams will make the playoffs and every single team in this division is a contender. It will truly be a dog fight just to make the playoffs.
Teams:
Bay Area Snipers
Another team with nearly whole roster switch up. Although their talent has taken a dip, their chemistry has majorly improved. Easily the sneakiest team in the division.Berksan
The reigning champions still have a lot to prove, as they got blown out in their week 1 matchup to Calabreezes. Their real question is whether they will be able to win games when the shots aren’t following. If they can start playing inside out, they can be an even scarier team.Calabreezees
The most complete team in the league. Even the older players on the team are in better shape than the college age players in the league. Coming off an undefeated regular season prior, can they finally make a deep playoff run?Campbell Divided
With their star and reigning Black Division MVP, Christian, injured for the next few games; will the rest of their roster be able to keep them afloat in playoff contention until he is able to return? They have moved down a divison, and should still be a major force, but losing Christian is a detrimental hit.Halal Hoopers
Another team that was supposed to play in the Black division forced to moved down. They have the most talent out of all the teams, but it is their first season playing together. Talent alone is not nearly good enough to win in this division. If they can figure it out and start playing together, the Halal Hoopers is another sneaky team that can catch everybody by surprise.Misfits
Short handed this season compared to last, but still a really strong team. They were plagued with injuries the past few weeks, but in an ideal environment, the Misfits are serious contenders. The real question is whether their players will have the health and availability to show out every week.Untouchaballs
The reigning White Division champions who moved all the way up to the Maroon division. Off appearance, the smallest and “weakest” team in the division. They give up a ton of points every game, but their offense is so high-powered that it doesn’t matter. They play very Pacer-esque basketball. They have a lot to prove in this division and they will not be able to get away with allowing so many points this season.
Majestic Red Division
Another incredibly tight division with no clear favorites. There is no easy matchup in this division, every team needs to get up every Sunday in order to win games. Another division with 7 teams where only the top 4 will make playoffs. Just like the Maroon division, the playoff hunt is going to be a dog fight. Every single game matters in this shortened regular season of 5 games.
Division Favorites and Projected Contenders
The Stupid Stars acquired the reigning MVP, Raul, and have a new team full of talent. They could have easily competed in Maroon, but since this is their first season in Majestic they have to earn their spot. Treez also regained and MVP, Steven, and 2 all stars on their roster, Yousef and Omar. With their new additions, Treez is the team to beat. They have both the guard and big play that will be difficult to compete against. Although these 2 teams are favorited, the difference between them and the next teams over is super slim. It would be no shocker to see any of these teams get a ring this season.
Teams:
Backdoor
2nd season in the league and already had a complete roster makeover. All the chemistry they built last season is basically gone and they’re restarting. They have the talent and youth to compete, but their lack of size is a real issue. It will be difficult to get rebounds and protect the paint without any true bigs.Bay Area Broncos
This is the most complete team in the division. Their 3-2 zone is deadly to teams who have poor chemistry and communication. They communicate and play so well together that it compensates for whatever talent disparity they may have.Ethics
Ethical hoopers are back for season 2. They were humbled in their first season and are definitely back for some vengeance. Their improved chemistry and feel for the league will be very beneficial to their play this season.Majestics
New team with a lot of talent, but need to improve their chemistry in order to truly compete. They have the size and talent to make a lot of noise, now they have to put it all together. Losing their lead guard, Devin, is a huge hit though, so we have to see how they bounce back from it.No Limit Hooperz
Another team with a roster shake up. They picked up 2 prior Majestic MVPs in Aryan and Isaac, but chemistry is yet another issue for this team. The ball gets stuck more often than not, and that must change in order to compete.Stupid Stars
A complete team with not too many holes. Having Raul on the team is enough to propel them into contention, but add very strong guard play and they’re an even scarier team. Their biggest weakness is at the wing position. They may not have the length and speed to guard some of the other team’s best players.Treez
The favorites in this division as of right now. Their additions of Yousef, Steven, and Omar is unprecedented. Easily the best free agency in Majestic history.
Majestic White Division
Four new teams have been added to the mix in this division. This division has the most question marks because of all the new faces being introduced this season. We are mainly looking to see which teams currently in the division don’t belong here.
Division Favorites and Projected Contenders
Mavericks and Bay Ballaz are looking to be the early favorites to start the season. Bay Ballaz have been in the league for over a year and have been steadily improving each season. Their chemistry and play on the court is looking dramatically better than when they first entered Majestic. Will this finally be the season they move up? Mavericks are also looking deep and talented, the current team to beat in the division for sure.
Teams:
Bay Area Golden Dragon
Looking to be much more competitive this season, although off to an 0-2 start; they are already competing better than the previous season.Bay Ballaz
A team with a lot of chemistry and history of playing with each other. Poised for another strong regular season, will they be able to perform in the playoffs? It's Our Ball Ain't It
New team who we have yet to see their best yet, excited to see how their season turns out.Mavericks
Easily the most talented team in the division, but need to see how all the talent and new players will mesh together. Losing their captain is a huge hit as well.Noor Hoopers
Basically a new team this season with 4 new additions. Each of their new guys are hustle and energy guys that have definitely given a boost to this team who has been pretty inconsistent the past few seasons.Yay Area's Finest
Another new team that has a lot to prove and that we don’t have much of a judgement on yet.
Players to Watch
Each division this Spring has its share of breakout candidates, steady leaders, and high-usage stars. Here are three players to watch in each division — all from different teams — who are poised to make a major impact this season:
Majestic Black Division

A polished shot-creator with confidence in isolation, Dennis thrives in transition and isn’t shy about taking over offensively. Expect him to be a go-to option down the stretch in tight games.
Rohan Bindu – No Fly Zone

Majestic Maroon Division
Anthony Piro – Bay Area Snipers
Piro plays with a scorer’s mentality, always hunting for his shot and capable of taking over quarters. His quick release and ability to create separation make him a tough cover for most defenders.
Paul Kim – Berksan
A defensive-minded guard who thrives on disruption, Kim turns steals into points and brings relentless energy on defense. He sets the tone and hits timely shots.
Alan Lemon – Halal Hoopers
A steady and composed offensive leader, Alan makes the right plays at the right time. He has a crafty handle, good vision, and a sense of control that keeps Halal Hoopers in rhythm offensively.
Majestic Red Division
Shahab – Ethics
A dominant frontcourt presence, Shahab combines physicality with finesse. He’s capable of controlling the glass, protecting the rim, and stretching the floor — all while playing with a high motor and composure.
Steven – Treez
Steven is the orchestrator of Treez’s offense, facilitating from the perimeter and keeping teammates involved. His poise and decision-making give Treez a reliable pace and identity on offense.
Shuyu – Bay Area Broncos
A two-way wing with a chip on his shoulder, Shuyu plays with intensity on both ends. He can hit timely shots, defend multiple positions, and gives the Broncos an edge in tough matchups.
Majestic White Division
Isaiah Amanuel – It’s Our Ball Ain’t It
Amanuel brings scoring instincts and a fearless mindset to the court. With a smooth handle and deep range, he keeps defenses honest and can ignite runs in a matter of minutes.
Nathan Fuentes – Noor Hoopers
Fuentes is a rebounding anchor with a relentless motor. His presence inside creates second-chance opportunities and allows Noor Hoopers to control tempo and grind out possessions.
Aryan Char – Mavericks
Aryan Charaniya is a dynamic guard known for his explosive scoring ability and clutch performances. Aryan’s agility and sharp shooting make him a constant threat on the court, capable of turning the tide of a game single-handedly.
